Det har ikkje mangla på til dels katastrofale spådomar om korleis verden kom til å bli råka av den globale oppvarminga, som skuldast livsgassen CO2. Utan CO2 ville det no ikkje vori liv på jorda. Det har fleire gonger blitt spådd at no er det berre ti år att, så går verden under. Men som kjent «kloden står han av», som dei seier i nord.
I Vest Telemark blad 20. januar kunne ein lesa nye spådomar om korleis det blir i Rauland og Høydalsmo om 100 år. Dette er uinteressant, for andre spådomar er verre: Me har berre 10 år på oss for å redde kloden frå kollaps, om me ikkje klarar å stoppe temperaturstigninga før 1,5 grader. Då blir temperaturen nesten som i vikingetida. Men dette var ei svært god og rik tid for Norden.
Vinje kommune har no sett skrifta på veggen. Saman med fylkeskommunen skal dei minke «klimautsleppa» med 60 % reikna frå 2009 og fram til 2030, og dei har også som mål å bli fossilfrie innan 2030.
Naturlovene som me lærde om på gymnaset i 1950 og 1960 åra er ukjent for dagens klimaforskarar. Henrys lov og Gullberg-Våge lova, som syner korleis det er balanse mellom CO2 i lufta og CO2 i havet for dei såkalla klimagassane, Lamberts Beers lov om absorbsjon av varme som syner at det ikkje blir absorbera meir varme sjølv om CO2 innhaldet i lufta blir fordobla.
Naturen har styrt dette gjennom millionar av år, og det er heilt nytteslaust og forferdeleg dyrt å prøve å regulere dette. Hugs månelandinga av Jens på Mongstad. 10 milliardar til ingen nytte. Det er svært energikrevande også. Det er sløsing med fossil energi. Havet gjer dette gratis.
Det er 30 år sidan det vart politisk slått fast at CO2 er skuld i global oppvarming. Det var og er ingen vitenskap som stadfestar dette. Klimautvalet IPCC i FN vart sett ned for å finne bevis. Det er omvendt vitenskap, fyrst bestemme resultatet, deretter skal dei finne bevisa.
Al Gore, fredsprisvinnar, kom med mange spådomar. Ingen har slått til.
Arktis (Nordpolområdet) skulle bli isfritt innan 2014. Feil. Isen er på nesten normalnivå i dag.
Isbjørnane kom til å svelte i hel. Feil. Isbjørnstamma har auka frå om lag 8 000 på 1950 talet, til om lag 30.000 velfødde dyr. Ein canadisk isbjørnforskar som kunne bevise det, fekk ikkje fornya si prof-II stilling. Det var ikkje politisk korrekt.
Maldivene og andre tropiske øyar skulle no ha lege under vatn. Feil. Flesteparten av dei har tvert i mot auka i storleik. Det er ingen unormal havstigning.
Plantelivet skulle få store problem. Feil. Kloden har blitt grønare, serleg omkring ørkenar og i høgfjellet. Dette er ein naturleg konsekvens av varmare ver og høgare CO2.
Matproduksjonen skulle gå ned. Feil. FN sin organisasjon for mat og landbruk, FAO, har statistikk som syner at matproduksjonen har auka. Med høgare temperatur og meir CO2, så veks det betre. Veksthusproduksjonen aukar 3-4 gonger når dei gjødslar lufta med CO2.
Snøen skulle forsvinne. Komande generasjonar ville ikkje veta kva snø er. Feil. Det har vori rikeleg med snø og kulde. Tilmed snøfall i Sahara, Spania, Jerusalem m.m.
50 millionar klimaflyktningar spådde FN. Feil. Dei einaste klimaflyktningane er dei som flyt til varmen i Spania eller Florida.
Klimapanelet, IPCC, har spådd at varmen samlar seg oppe i atmosfæra, det så- kalla Hot spot, veksthuseffekten. Feil. Det har ikkje vori nokon temperaturstigning i atmosfæra på 22 år.
Professor i klima ved MIT, USA, Dr Richard Lindzen har sagt at å tru at klimaendringane skuldast CO2,er som å tru på magi.
Professor i fysikk, Dr Hal Lewis, skriv at verdas største vitenskapelege bløff og skandale er å tru på at klimaendringar og global oppvarming er menneskjeskapte.
Det har gjennom alle tider vori klimaendringar, større før enn no. Det har vori varmeperiodar. For nokre tusen år sidan var Hardangervidda og andre høgfjellsplatå dekt av grov furuskog. Vikingetida var varmare enn i dag og varmekjære treslag voks langt inn i landet. Så kom den såkalla Vesle istida med svær svolt og avfolking. Fyrst langt utpå 1800 talet vart klimaet meir leveleg.
